Salvador Dali was naturally interested in fragrances as another form of artistic expression.He himself desgned bottle of the first` Salvador Dali ` fragrance.He took inspiration from his painting `Apparition of the Face of Aphrodite of Knidos`.Abstracting Aphrodite`s lips and nose to embody his fragrance,Dali demonstrated the central position held by woman in his life and art.

The fragrance is unison of jasmine,his favorite flower and rose,Gala`s darling.Despite of being his muse,Gala was also inspired Dali`s interest in fragrances for which she had big passion expressed in possessing hundreds of perfume bottles.
This September,Parfums Salvador Dali launched Dali Eau de Toilette,new fragrance for women.Like the original Dali Le Parfum (also known as Salvador Dali) from the early1980s this one is developed by perfumer Alberto Morillas.The notes include tangerine,bergamot,orange blossom,jasmine,rose,magnolia,white musk,woods and vanilla.
